The 20th Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications Symposium 2009 (PIMRC’09) will be held in Tokyo, Japan. The PIMRC Symposia started in London in 1990 and we are very honored to host the memorial 20th PIMRC Symposium in Japan. The PIMRC Symposia have been successful by getting high quality papers presented and as the place to exchange/acquire the most advanced academic and industry R&D information through a good balance of academia and industry.

 

The theme of the PIMRC’09 is “Giga bit Wireless for Real Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC)”  and will focus from physical layer to applications technologies to realize REAL PIMRC. The PIMRC’09 Symposium will be composed of high quality technical sessions, panels, workshops and tutorials supported by PIMRC’09 General Chairs, Technical Program Chairs, Organizational Committee chairs, global TPC members on top of outstanding PIMRC Steering Committee and International Advisory Committee.

Venue

The PIMRC’09 site, The Westin Tokyo is conveniently located in the center of Tokyo. Hotels are available in the range of 100$ to 300$ in the area.

Registration Policy and Fees

Authors have to register before August 13th and submit their final Camera-Ready paper in EDAS. Reminder, Following PIMRC policy since 2004, please note:

· at least one full registration must be attached to each accepted paper.

· In case of multiple accepted papers by one author, one full or limited registration must be attached to each paper.

· Discounted IEEE Student fees are not accepted for papers presenters. The presenter, even if he/she is a student, must register with a full presenter registration.

· For camera ready papers exceeding 5 pages, organization committee decided to apply extra page fee of $100 per page. No paper exceeding 7 pages will be accepted.

 

Presenters must select the registration(s) fees according to their status (member or non member) and to the number of papers accepted (1st, 2nd, 3rd) they will present.
If their co-author(s) wishes to attend PIMRC 2009, he/she or they need to make another registration.
